What We Believe
God
We believe God is the one and only true God, eternal, perfect and infinite. He stands as Creator of the world and Preserver of all things. He is omniscient (all-knowing), omnipotent (all-powerful) and omnipresent (all-present). He is revealed in creation, through mankind and by His Word. He is head of the Trinity as God the Father and he is in personal relationship with all who profess Jesus Christ as Savior.
Genesis 1:1-2:3; Deuteronomy 6:4; John 3:16; Hebrews 11:3; 1 John 3:1-2
Jesus
We believe Jesus is the second person of the Trinity, sent by God to earth through the virgin birth. He became fully man, while remaining fully God, to live a perfect life in order to be the ultimate sacrifice for sin and salvation. Through his death, he paid the penalty of sin and opened the door to have a relationship with God and eternal life. By raising from the grave three days later, Jesus conquered death and sin once and for all. He now resides in Heaven waiting to make his glorious return to earth to renew and restore all things.

Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, sent by Jesus to earth to be our helper, advocate, mediator, counselor and guide. He lives in and is at work in the lives of all people who believe in Jesus as Savior. He is at work in the lives of those who do not believe in Jesus working in them to bring them to faith in Jesus.
Psalm 143:10; John 14:16-17, 26; 1 Corinthians 2:12-14; 1 Corinthians 6:19-20; Ephesians 1:13-14; Ephesians 3:14-19;
The Bible
We believe in the infallibility of the Bible. In other words, we believe the Bible is from God without error or contradiction. The Bible can be trusted as true and provides the blueprint for salvation and life.
2 Timothy 3:15-17; 2 Peter 1:16-21; 2 Peter 3:16
Salvation
We believe salvation is the free gift of grace by God provided through Jesus Christ's death, burial and resurrection from the grave. Those who receive God's free gift of grace join the family of God as children of God, justified (free of guilt) in their relationship with God, sanctified (made perfect) in their walk with God, and now called to live a life of obedience to God.
Acts 2:38; Romans 6:23; Romans 10:9-10; Ephesians 2:8-10; Colossians 1:22-23
Baptism
We believe baptism is the first step of obedience for every person who accepts God's free gift of grace. Baptism was instituted by Jesus before starting his public ministry. He later instructed that people be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and the Spirit with the early church continuing the teaching and practice of baptism. Baptism is a public display of the faith professed. While faith is personal, it is not meant to be private. Baptism is the first public display of faith in Jesus, but certainly not the last.
Matthew 3:13-17'; Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 2:38; Romans 6:2-6; 1 Peter 3:21
The Church
We believe in the church as the global body of believers who have professed faith in Jesus Christ. The church, instituted by Jesus, is the primary avenue through which believers find worship, community, teaching, discipline, prayer and spiritual gifts. Through the church, the Gospel is taken to the world and is the visible representation of God on earth.
Matthew 16:18; Acts 2:42-47; 1 Corinthians 11-12; 1 Corinthians 14:26; James 5:13-16; 1 Peter 2:9-10
Sin
We believe that sin entered the world through Adam and Eve in the garden following creation. As a result, a separation took place between God and mankind that still exists to this day. Sin is actions and thoughts that are disobedient to God. We cannot "cure" or "clean" ourselves of sin. Because of that, God sent his Son, Jesus, to die on the cross for our sins.
