What are they?

GROWTH Groups are the main form of discipleship here at Pleasant Lake. These groups are designed to be small in number and flexible in time. We believe that it takes a group for people to grow in their faith which means we actively encourage everyone to participate in a GROWTH Group. 

How do they work?

GROWTH Groups are very simplistic in their idea and function. They are designed for 2-4 people of the same gender meeting on a weekly basis at a time that works best for everyone. During this time, the group will study a topic, book or book of the Bible with the desire to grow in their faith and in their service for God and to people.

Why should I join?

Life was never meant to be lived alone. It was meant to be lived in a community of people. GROWTH Groups provide a great opportunity for each person to build a relationship with others as they all strive for growth in their faith. Through encouragement from others, studying of the Bible and prayer, people have a chance to grow in their faith.

When can I start?

GROWTH Groups are an ongoing ministry. Whenever you are ready to join a group, we will help you get connected with either an existing group or we will help you form a new group. Either way, you can start whenever you are ready.
