Ryan kainPastoral Team
Ryan grew up in Orland, IN and graduated from Prairie Heights High School. He met his high school sweetheart Lori there and has been attending Pleasant Lake Community Church ever since. He was baptized at PLCC in 2009 and strives to grow daily in his walk with Christ. Ryan co-owns and operates a machine shop in Orland with his parents; and Lori is an art teacher at PHHS. They have 3 children: Russell, Lillian and Rolland. Ryan loves to hunt and camp with his family and his hobbies can be summarized in the following order: Jesus, Family, and the Outdoors.

Craig ErwinPastoral Team
Craig grew up in Pleasant Lake, IN and graduated from Angola High School. He received a bachelors degree from IPFW and went on to get his masters in Cyber Security. He currently works at Cooper Standard and has a passion for a Workplace bible study group that he started in 2013 and continues to lead. Craig started attending Pleasant Lake Mennonite Church in 2006 when he met his amazing wife Lisa. They were married in 2008 and have 3 children Nevaeh, Noah, and Elijah. In his free time he enjoys hanging out with his family, running, biking, swimming, and eating dessert. He has enjoyed serving in many different areas of the church including teaching, preaching, helping with the youth, and all things tech. During church service Craig is most likely to be found somewhere behind a computer.

Luke YoderPastoral Team
Luke grew up in Angola, and graduated from Angola High School in 2004 and has been attending PLCC since 2007. He met his wife Christina while studying business at Manchester University, together they have 5 children. Luke has been in the residential construction industry since college while Christina has enjoyed being a stay at home mom and homeschooling the children. Over the past 15 years Luke has enjoyed getting to know his Heavenly Father at a deeper level, although raised in the church, it wasn't until adulthood that he began to understand what being a disciple of Jesus looks like. In his spare time Luke enjoys exploring new things and places with his family, reading, and anything that involves being active.

Kaelah TeegardinChildren's Director
Kaelah grew up in Pleasant Lake and graduated from Angola High School in 2012. She has 3 kids (Nala, Lyla, and Brycin) and married Devin in 2015. Kaelah started attending PLCC in 2018 and started volunteering in the kids wing in 2019. She graduated from KIDMIN Academy in 2023 earning a degree in Children’s Ministry. In her spare time Kaelah and her family like to check out new places and go hiking at Pokagon.

marissa vanroesselSecretary
Marissa joined the PLCC team in January 2024. She and her husband Hugo have been married since 2017. They moved to Pleasant Lake in 2022 and have 3 pretty girls, 1 dog, 1 cat, and a few chickens. Marissa enjoys helping her husband on their farm, working with animals, taking nature hikes, baking with the girls, and reading.

Lynn EicherElder
Lynn and his wife Eileen have been members of the church since it began. They were married in 1973, have 6 grown children and 15 grand children. The two farm beef, grain and hay together on their farm in Fremont. Lynn served as pastor from 2005-2013 and loved the people that came to his services. In his free time, Lynn enjoys deer hunting, fishing and 4-wheeling.

Leroy steuryElder
Leroy started as a general contractor in 1995 after graduating from Angola High School. In 2004 he purchased the business from his father, Jonas Steury. Leroy, his wife Tammy and 5 children live in Pleasant Lake in Leroy’s childhood home. He enjoys hunting, spending time with family and friends, and watching his kids play sports. His favorite hobby is farming with his brother! Leroy has served in many capacities in the church as he’s attended since it first opened the doors! He actually was part of the building the church building! Leroy and Tammy started the first youth group at the church. They also have led church teams in 2011 and 2017 to Haiti for mission work. In 2004, the couple and 3 kids spent 6 months living in Haiti which is where their passion for the country started!

Menno WaglerElder
Menno is currently one of the Elders at Pleasant Lake
Community Church and was one of the original Elders when PLCC began having services. He has been married to Ada for forty-five years and they have four children and nine grandchildren and reside in Hudson, In. Menno enjoys playing bass or guitar and singing with his family and others on the worship team and also makes the best coffee of anyone at PLCC! |
Brian schmidtTrustee
Brian grew up in Hudson, graduating from Prairie Heights High School in 2001. After working for Steury Builders until 2008, he started his own construction business in 2009. He met his wife, Charlianne, at a young adult ministry and they married in 2010. Life is an adventure raising their 5 children, and operating the family farm. Brian enjoys studying and teaching God's word, hunting, and fabricating farm equipment in his shop.

RYAN HOlidayTrustee
Ryan grew up in Steuben County and is a 2002 graduate of Prairie Heights High School. He and his wife Ashton were married in 2013 and have 3 children: Rory, Finley, and Grant. Ryan has worked as an HVAC service technician with Pranger Enterprise for 16 years. He and his family have been attending PLCC since 2018 and have loved seeing the growth in the church since that time. In his spare time, Ryan enjoys farming, coaching little league sports, camping, and anything outdoors.

Brad BirdTrustee
Brad grew up in Angola and is a 1995 graduate of Angola High School. He has a business degree from IPFW and is the owner/operator of Birds Auto Sales in Angola. Brad had four children, Jake, Kennedy, Brooklyn and Braylee. He and his wife Ashley were married in 2011 and recently moved just outside of Pleasant Lake. Brad enjoys fixing cars, house remodel projects, watching sports and spending time with family.

annette millerHospitality Coordinator
Annette is the mother of 3 children and married to her husband Marcus since 2001. During the day she works with her husband at their plumbing business. In the evening she's running kids to and from activities. Annette has been a lifelong resident of Pleasant Lake and was part of the original Pleasant Lake Mennonite Church that started in 1999. She has served in many areas of ministry throughout her time at the church. In her free time, Annette enjoys her Tuesday lunch date with friends, spending time at the lake in the summer and watching her kids sporting events. Annette is excited to be heading up the food committee at the church, a role she has held before.

tammy steuryMinistry Coordinator
Tammy was part of the original church that started in 1999. She and her husband Leroy were the first youth leaders in the church. Tammy was the Children's director for 5 years, started the first VBS at the church and was the director of that for 5 years. In 2013 the Steury's adopted their son, Izaiah from Ethiopia. In 2017 Leroy and Tammy led a mission trip to Haiti, where they lived for 7 months in 2004. Tammy was a Registered Nurse for 24 years before working with her husband at their family business, Steury Builders in Pleasant Lake. In her free time, Tammy loves to attend her kids many sporting events, gardening, reading a good book or vacationing somewhere tropical!
